New Delhi: Veteran filmmaker Prakash Jha and actor Adil Hussain will award students for filmmaking on Social issues at Films4change 2020, a film festival being organised here on February 28-29.
The students are being awarded through a short film competition. Films will be selected by esteemed jury and presented during the festival. The budding filmmakers will get an opportunity to interact with distinguished filmmakers and film critics.
In addition to the winning short films by the students, Prakash Jha’s new film, Pareeksha will also be screened during the event, followed by a discussion on the issues raised by the film. The discussion will be moderated by National award winning film critic Saibal Chatterjee.
Adil Hussain will conduct an acting workshop for the aspiring students from Delhi University during the event. Known actor Rasika Duggal will also interact with students and share her own experiences in working in the film & web series industry.
The winning short film entries will be awarded by cash prizes and citation.
The films4change is film festival and forum showcasing the representation and documentation of various social issues through the work of both iconic as well as emerging filmmakers from India and across the world.
