PM Kisan Yojana 18th Installment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the release of the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, transferring Rs 20,000 crore directly to the bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers. This significant step, made from Washim, Maharashtra, aims to provide crucial financial support to the agricultural sector across the country.

This marks another major effort by the government to uplift the farming community, ensuring financial assistance reaches them in a timely manner to sustain their farming operations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, transferring funds directly to farmers’ bank accounts from Washim, Maharashtra.

18th Installment of PM Kisan Yojana Released

In a significant move benefiting farmers across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Over 9 crore farmers have received financial support this time, with a total distribution of Rs 20,000 crore. This amount was directly credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts, marking a crucial step in supporting the agricultural sector.

The last installment (the 17th) was distributed in June 2024, when PM Modi transferred over Rs 21,000 crore to more than 9.26 crore farmers during his visit to Varanasi.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a government initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 annually. This money is transferred directly to their bank accounts, providing crucial financial aid to support their agricultural activities and livelihoods.

The program’s goal is to enhance farmers’ income and offer timely monetary help to sustain their farming practices.

How to Check Payment Status

Farmers eager to check whether they have received the 18th installment can easily verify their payment status online. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Visit the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in.
  2. Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ tab.
  3. Enter your registration number and the captcha code.
  4. Click on ‘Get Data’ to view the status of your payment.

This simple process ensures that farmers can stay updated on their installment without any hassle.

How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List

To verify if your name is included in the list of beneficiaries, follow these steps:

  1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in and click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.
  2. Enter your state, district, block, and village information.
  3. Click on ‘Get Report’ to view the complete list of beneficiaries in your area.

If farmers face any issues or need more information about the scheme, they can reach out to the helpline numbers provided: 155261 or 011-24300606.

This timely distribution of funds is yet another example of the government’s continued focus on improving the lives of farmers, providing them with financial support to manage their farming activities.
