New Delhi – Pidilite Industries Ltd spent 2.40% on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as percentage of profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 979.44 crores.
The company has spent Rs 23.49 crore, against the prescribed CSR expenditure of Rs. 23.12 crores in FY19.
The Company supports various bodies in carrying out activities in the areas of rural development, education, health care and general semantics.
The average net profit of the company for the last three financial years is Rs 1,156 crore followed by Rs 1,039 in FY2015-16, Rs 1,176 in FY2016-17 and Rs 1,252 in FY2017-18.
The CSR committee as on 31st March 2019 comprises of Sanjeev Aga, N K Parekh, A B Parekh, Meera Shankar and Sabyaschi Patnaik as the members.
In FY2018-19, the company has undertaken activities relating to promoting education, healthcare, rural development, women empowerment and sanitation.
