NEW DELHI: Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for transportation, today announced that it will depute Ola Officials at specific locations near India Gate to help ease the traffic and smoothen mobility. These officials would assist people in booking and availing cab facility after the Republic Day function. Discount Coupons will also be granted to customers availing services from these Ola Officials.
The Delhi Police Department has been cordially informed about the manpower deployment plan by Ola. These Officials besides helping people will also be assisting in managing traffic with the traffic police. Geographical locations of the Ola Officials will include Temp Bus Terminal, Junction (towards Janpath), CP Junction, Shah Jahan Road junction, Talkatora- Gurudwara, Rakabganj Junction. On Republic Day, when the traffic movement is restricted, Ola will ply its cabs on all those routes which are specified for public transportation by the Police Department.
