BHUBANESWAR (India CSR): Reaffirming its commitment to inclusive growth and community development, NTPC Limited has undertaken educational infrastructure development works at Government Upper Primary School (UPS), Nivaran, Niali, Cuttack, Odisha, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The newly developed facilities were inaugurated by Somes Bandyopadhyay, Regional Executive Director, Eastern Region II), HQ’s NTPC, in the presence of school authorities, teachers, students, NTPC officials, local representatives and members of the community.
The initiative aims to provide students with a safer, more comfortable and conducive learning environment by strengthening essential educational infrastructure and supporting quality education. The improved facilities are expected to benefit students from Nivaran and nearby areas, helping create a more engaging atmosphere for learning and overall development.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Somes Bandyopadhyay highlighted the vital role of education in building an equitable and progressive society and reiterated NTPC’s commitment to implementing impactful CSR initiatives that create lasting value for communities and empower young minds.
Through such initiatives, NTPC continues to go beyond powering the nation—powering aspirations, strengthening communities and shaping brighter futures.
