NOIDA | Tensions continue to simmer across Noida’s industrial sectors following two days of intense labor unrest that paralyzed parts of the city and led to violent clashes between factory workers and security forces.
The protests, which peaked on April 13 and 14, 2026, saw an estimated 45,000 workers from nearly 80 industrial locations—including Sectors 59, 60, 62, 63, and 80—take to the streets. The agitation was fueled by soaring living costs, long-standing demands for wage revisions, and alleged exploitation by employers.
