Joerg Reger, Managing Director at ABB Robotics Automotive Business Line, highlights that “PixelPaint allows for the application of both large areas of color and intricate details without manual intervention, streamlining the paint process significantly.”
The technology employs a robotic paint head equipped with over 1,000 individually controlled nozzles, ensuring flawless paint application without overspray. This innovation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal with custom finishes but also aligns with sustainable practices by eliminating waste.
