HYDERABAD: Magma Fincorp will train one lakh truck drivers in better driving habits and fuel conservation, in association with the Petroleum Conservation and Research Association (PCRA).
The programme is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative which will be executed in special facilities called transport nagar and regular workshops” Sachin Khandelwal, Chief Sales Officer, Magma Fincrop, told newspersons .
The company had opened a facility in Karimnagar to train the drivers along with e-toilets.”We will also be opening these facilities in Vijayawada and other locations across the country soon” he added.
A Jankiram, Chief Regional Coordinator – Southern Region, PCRA, said the association has been working on spreading awareness about the importance of conserving petroleum products since 1991 and the tie-up with Magma would go a long way in this regard.
