Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) has been awarded the CSR Health Impact Gold Award for their extensive COVID relief efforts under CSR. These initiatives, led by JSP’s President & Group Head (CSR), Prashant Kumar Hota, included providing over two million meals across six states during the lockdown, supplying over 5,000 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen to 13 states, dedicating 700 oxygen beds in hospitals, and establishing a specialised COVID Care Centre. The company also supported farmers, women from self-help groups, and children orphaned by the pandemic. The award was presented by Dr. Kiran Bedi, former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
