The three newly launched cement variants are expected to cater to a wide range of construction requirements, from residential buildings to major infrastructure projects, offering builders a choice of high-performance products designed to address specific needs.

Bhubaneswar/Puri, Odisha (India CSR): Jindal Panther Cement, a name synonymous with innovation and quality, made its highly-anticipated debut in the cement industry with a spectacular launch event held in Puri, Odisha. This significant milestone celebrates the operational commencement of the Angul Cement Plant, a state-of-the-art facility that promises to transform the construction landscape across East India. The launch event showcased the company’s dedication to bringing technologically advanced, energy-efficient, and sustainable building materials to the region, paving the way for a new era in construction.

The Angul Cement Plant, designed with the latest industry-leading technology, started its operations with an impressive production capacity of 1.5 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA). This capacity is set to double, reaching 3 MTPA by 2026. The Angul facility, together with the existing 1 MTPA Raigarh Plant, provides Jindal Panther Cement with a combined production capacity of 2.5 MTPA, ensuring a strong supply chain and capacity to meet the growing demands of the construction industry.

Strategically located in Odisha, the Angul Plant is expected to cater to the needs of the burgeoning construction activities not only in Odisha but also in neighboring states such as West Bengal, Bihar, and others. This strategic positioning makes Jindal Panther Cement well-equipped to contribute to the infrastructure growth of the entire eastern region, supporting both urban and rural development projects.
