Jakson Care, CSR arm of Jakson Group in continuation of its efforts to provide food to daily wage earners in the current lockdown, provided essential food items to 100 families in the city.
The donation drive was organized in partnership with Madan Mohan Kristi Parisad, a local trust.
Last week, the company had distributed essential items among 300 families in one of the largest & most venerable slums in the Noida.
Soraya Rebello, CSR Head of the group said, ” We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has put us all in a state of crisis that continues to unfold every day. During this phase of the 21 day lockdown, many Indians from economically backward sections have faced extreme challenges.”
“These include Daily wage workers who are either labourers, rickshaw pullers & domestic help”, she added.
