NOIDA (India CSR): The Jagran CSR Summit 2024, a landmark event hosted by Jagran Pehel and supported by India CSR, is set to unfold at the prestigious Hotel Radisson Blu MBD, Noida, marking a pivotal day from 10 AM to 5 PM dedicated to fostering growth, innovation, and sustainable development in the sphere of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India. This edition of the summit, themed “Convergence of Visionaries: Unveiling Pathways to Sustainable Futures,” aims to foster collaborative solutions for responsible growth and social impact.

This summit promises to be a melting pot of ideas, featuring an impressive lineup of speakers, thought leaders, and visionaries from various sectors.

Visionary CSR Pathways for Uttar Pradesh

In his inaugural talk at the prestigious Summit, Rusen Kumar, the esteemed founder of India CSR, will shine a spotlight on the transformative power of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in fostering sustainable development and social welfare in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Drawing on his extensive experience and deep understanding of CSR dynamics in India, Rusen Kumar is expected to outline a visionary roadmap highlighting the critical areas where CSR can make a significant impact in UP.

The Inaugural Essence

A Morning of Beginnings and Inspirations

The summit will kick off with a registration and networking session at 10 AM, providing attendees with a golden opportunity to connect and exchange ideas. Following this, the inaugural session will commence at 11 AM, graced by the keynote addresses of esteemed guests. Rusen Kumar of India CSR will set the context, introducing the visionaries including Acharya Shri Balkrishna, MD, Patanjali Ayurved Limited and Shri Manish Kumar, CMD of Northern Coalfields Limited, who will share their insights and set the tone for the day’s discourse.

Leadership and Legacy

CSR in India: Reflecting on a Decade

From 12 PM to 1:30 PM, the summit will dive into a leadership session titled “CSR in India: A Decade’s Experience and Journey,” featuring keynote speakers like Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Vice President, Global CSR, HCL Tech & Director, HCL Foundation; Dr. Divya Gupta, Member, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, and Prof. Arun Kansal, Vice Chancellor, TERI School of Advanced Studies. Moderated by Rusen Kumar, this session aims to reflect on the journey of CSR in India, highlighting key milestones and lessons learned.

Sustainability and Education: The Path Forward

Afternoon Sessions: Beyond Borders and Classrooms

Post-lunch, the summit resumes with back-to-back leadership sessions focusing on “Sustainability and Climate Action Beyond Borders” by Prof. Dinabandhu Sahoo, Director, Center for Himalayan Studies, University of Delhi and “Advancement in Higher Education through Corporate CSR Partnership” featuring Dr. Harivash Chaturvedi, Veteran Educationist and Dr. Pranav Singh, Director, Rama Medical College and University Kanpur & Noida.

These discussions will delve into the critical roles of sustainability and education in shaping a better future.

Health, Nutrition, and New Dimensions

Innovating CSR for Tomorrow

The subsequent session will spotlight health and nutrition, with Chef Manjit Singh Gil, President, Indian Federation of Culinary Associations discussing the importance of these aspects within CSR initiatives.

New Dimensions of CSR: Emerging Opportunities

The day will progress to a panel discussion on “New Dimensions of CSR: Emerging Opportunities,” promising a vibrant exchange of ideas and practices that could redefine CSR’s trajectory.

Jagran CSR Summit 2024

During the eagerly anticipated panel discussion session titled “New Dimensions of CSR: Emerging Opportunities,” slated from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM at the Jagran CSR Summit 2024, a distinguished panel comprising Rusen Kumar, founder of India CSR; Sita Ram Gupta, a renowned CSR and social sector expert; Gaganpal Singh, lead of the See to Learn Program at VisionSpring Vision Access Programs; Gaurav Mamik, CEO of R2V2 Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Arun Arora, Director of Chetak Foundation, will come together to explore the evolving landscape of Corporate Social Responsibility.

This session promises to unveil groundbreaking opportunities in CSR, touching upon innovative strategies, collaborative models, and technological advancements that are set to redefine how corporations engage in social and environmental stewardship.

The panelists will share their insights and experiences, offering a deep dive into how these emerging opportunities can address complex societal challenges, drive sustainable development, and foster a new era of corporate-community engagement.

Celebrating Excellence and Forward-Looking

Concluding with Recognition and Gratitude

The summit will culminate in an awards ceremony and a valedictory session from 4:45 PM to 5:15 PM, celebrating the achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations in the field of CSR. A keynote address by a distinguished guest and a vote of thanks will draw the day to a close, leaving participants inspired and motivated to drive change in their communities and beyond.
