NEW DELHI (India CSR): Shaina Ganapathy, the Head of Community Outreach Initiatives at Embassy Group, recently expressed her appreciation for the government’s Interim Union Budget 2024. Support for Skill India Mission and Education Expansion
Ganapathy praised the government’s efforts in upskilling and reskilling over 54 lakh youth under the Skill India Mission. The establishment of new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other higher learning institutions, she added, is a vital step in strengthening India’s talent pipeline, essential for the country’s future growth.
Enhancements in Public Health and Early Childhood Development
The expansion of health coverage to include ASHA and Anganwadi workers, along with the unification of maternal and child health schemes and upgrading of Anganwadi centres, were particularly lauded by Ganapathy. She believes these measures show the government’s commendable commitment to public health and early childhood development. According to her, these initiatives are poised to make a profound impact on the lives of numerous individuals and families.
