Infosys Makes Strides Towards Gender Parity: 39.4% Female Workforce and Commitment to Achieve 45% by 2030″

BANGALORE (India CSR Exclusive): In line with its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Vision 2030, Infosys is making substantial progress towards gender equality. As of fiscal year 2023, the tech giant reported a female representation of 39.4% among its employees. This figure corresponds to a female workforce of 1,35,355 women and shows a steady trend towards greater gender balance in the company.

The data reflects a consistent increase in female representation over the past three years. The percentage of women employees has risen from 38.6% in 2020-21 to 39.6% in 2021-22 and currently stands at 39.4% for the year 2022-23.

This steady progress underscores Infosys’ commitment to its ESG Vision 2030, launched in October 2020. The company aims to achieve a workforce with 45% female representation by 2030, demonstrating a tangible commitment to improving diversity and inclusion.

In line with this vision, Infosys is also redoubling efforts to serve all stakeholders’ interests by leading through its core values and setting benchmarks in corporate governance. This holistic approach reinforces Infosys’ commitment to social responsibility and sustainable business practices.
