Indeed, leading job site has partnered with Covid Women Help – a volunteer organization that seeks to provide financial and professional help to women who have lost their spouses to Covid-19 – to help them identify, prepare for, and apply for suitable job opportunities in the formal sector.
The pandemic has left many women to shoulder the burden with supporting themselves and their family on their own.
Under the partnership with Covid Women Help, Indeed will enable women, who are applying for their first job or are returning to work, through employment-linked online skills resource and digital literacy.
Indeed will also be providing handy resources for creating resumes and cover letters; identifying and applying for suitable jobs; and preparing for interviews.
Yudhvir Mor, who founded Covid Women Help said, “The devastation caused by the pandemic is of immense proportions, and the people who have been affected can use all the help they get. We launched the platform to help women find employment so that they may support their families better. We are grateful to Indeed for stepping in to help our cause. We are confident that this collaboration will help us in our mission of making these women stand on their feet by finding them a job.”
