This national road safety month, Honda will enhance the retention of road safety awareness through age-appropriate 7 online training modules (Good Samaritans Law, Motor Vehicle Awareness Act, Pedestrian Safety Awareness & Golden Rules for Road Safety for all age group; Road Engineering and Vehicle Health Check-ups & Documents for adults and School Bus Commutation exclusively for bus drivers & conductors).

Honda’s 360-degree awareness drive will educate all age groups on healthy road practices. At the same time, Honda’s 12 traffic training parks across 11 cities will digitally harness the Power of 7 to citizens in collaboration with various State Governments, schools, colleges and corporates across India.

This will be supplemented by more than 6,300 Honda’s sales and service outlets who will educate Honda’s two-wheeler customers in 1000+ towns and cities across India. Further taking this initiative ahead, Honda will also conduct an online road safety awareness quiz for its internal associates across its 1000+ dealers, 4 manufacturing plants, 17 zonal offices, 5 regional offices and its head office.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhu Nagaraj – Senior Vice President, Brand & Communication, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “For 20 years, Honda has been aggressively working towards its vision of ‘Safety for Everyone’ on roads. Every year, the National Road Safety Week is observed in India with an aim to make India roads safer. As a responsible corporate, Honda is upping its road safety initiatives with special Road Safety e-Gurukul awareness drive across multiple towns & cities of India. Honda’s safety instructors will emphasise on important subjects like road engineering, Motor Vehicle Act and importance of regular vehicle health check-ups, correct riding techniques and the golden rules of road safety. With this initiative, Honda aims to sensitize all type of road users, be it existing or new riders, drivers or even young children who are pedestrians or pillions of their responsibility on roads.”

During this month long drive, Honda through its special learning modules & activities will spread awareness to:
