Godrej Enterprises Group has won a Yotta and NTT Data Center mandate for integrated key management solutions and targets ₹50 crore data centre security revenue in two years.
MUMBAI (India CSR): Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has expanded its presence in India’s critical digital infrastructure security segment after receiving a mandate from Yotta and NTT Data Center to deploy an integrated Key Management Solution linked with the Genetec security platform.
The project will support centralised management of physical keys, improve auditability and strengthen operational security at data centre facilities. The mandate was awarded after a live demonstration of the solution’s capabilities, including compatibility with existing and future Genetec software versions, operational efficiency and enhanced security controls.
Godrej said the engagement, which began as a requirement for one data centre, was subsequently expanded to multiple facilities. The opportunity emerged through its technology partnership with Genetec, which recommended Godrej’s solution based on its integration capabilities and experience in securing critical infrastructure.
The Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group is targeting revenue of Rs. 50 crore from the data centre segment over the next two years. The company plans to expand its portfolio of integrated security, key management, access control and infrastructure protection solutions for mission-critical facilities.
India’s data centre sector is expanding rapidly, supported by the growth of cloud computing, artificial intelligence workloads, digital payments, enterprise digitisation, e-governance and data localisation. As capacity increases, data centre operators are placing greater emphasis on resilience, compliance, traceability and uninterrupted operations.
Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head, Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group, said that data centres have become critical infrastructure assets supporting cloud services, AI, digital payments and enterprise operations.
“Securing such infrastructure requires solutions that go beyond standalone systems and deliver highly secure end-to-end visibility, traceability, integration and operational efficiency at scale,” he said.
Godrej Enterprises Group brings experience in securing airports, banking institutions, government establishments, manufacturing facilities and other critical assets. Through this mandate, the company is positioning its Security Solutions business as a technology-led partner for the growing convergence of physical security, intelligent platforms and digital infrastructure protection in India.
