MUMBAI (India CSR): Godrej Enterprises Group has reported a 19% rise in the biodiversity index at its Vikhroli campus in FY 2024-25, strengthening its commitment to nature-positive growth, the company said.
The campus, including its mangrove ecosystem, hosts over 1,500 species of plants, birds, animals, amphibians, reptiles and aquatic fauna.
The Vikhroli mangroves also hold over 23 lakh tCO₂e of sequestered carbon, supporting Mumbai’s climate resilience.
Through initiatives like Magical Mangroves with WWF-India, Godrej has reached nearly 1.2 lakh beneficiaries in three years, combining conservation with public awareness, the company said.
