MUMBAI: As a part of Children’s Day celebration , ” SAMBHAV “the CSR Dept. of Gitanjali Gems Ltd invited ADAPT / Spastic society for organizing an exhibition cum sale of beautiful Handicrafts designed & created by ADAPT students (affected with Cerebral Palsy), Women’s Empowerment Group & student trainees at Gitanjali Gems Ltd, Laxmi Tower, BKC.
Under the expert guidance of the ADAPT staff, the students had created a variety of exquisite articles that make beautiful gifts for the home, office and personal use. On popular demand it was the second consecutive year that this stall was organized. The response was over whelming.
People appreciated the products and purchased goods worth close to Rs 23000 /- (Highest sales figure in a day for ADAPT ) . Also donations close to Rs 5000 were collected and given to the special children.
