ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA (India CSR): Fluence Energy, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed energy storage and optimization software company in the clean energy sector, has released its Fiscal Year 2025 Sustainability Report in Arlington, Virginia, covering October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, to present its ESG progress, responsible business practices and climate-related transparency; the release did not mention partner names, beneficiary numbers, CSR investment or a state-specific programme.
The company said the report is now in its fourth year of publication. It outlines Fluence’s progress across environmental, social and governance initiatives. It also presents the company’s sustainability roadmap.
The roadmap includes plans to strengthen transparency, improve environmental performance across the value chain and advance responsible and resilient business practices.
A key highlight of the report is the establishment of Fluence’s first baseline for Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions. The company said this creates a clearer metric for tracking operational climate progress.
Fluence also completed its second report aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. This is aimed at giving stakeholders greater insight into the company’s climate strategy and long-term resilience.
The company said it received a Commitment Badge in its first EcoVadis assessment. The recognition relates to demonstrated progress and transparency across its sustainability programme.
Fluence was also recognised by Corporate Knights, which named it the number one most sustainable corporation in the United States and ranked it fourth worldwide.
“Our mission to transform the way we power our world has never been more urgent, as the need for reliable, flexible, and resilient grids grows stronger every day,” said Julian Nebreda, President and Chief Executive Officer, Fluence.
He said energy storage is playing an increasing role in meeting new power demands across global markets, including digital infrastructure linked to artificial intelligence.
“We are helping our customers address mission-critical requirements for power quality, reliability, and cybersecurity, while delivering solutions that support faster grid integration, greater energy efficiency, and more sustainable outcomes for the communities we serve,” the company said.
Fluence said its sustainability strategy supports several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The report is prepared in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board and TCFD frameworks.
The company also maintains its annual commitment to the United Nations Global Compact.
From a Corporate Social Responsibility perspective, the report is relevant for ESG professionals, clean energy companies, policymakers and researchers tracking climate disclosure, responsible business practices and energy transition governance.
Fluence Energy, Inc. delivers intelligent energy storage systems, operational services and asset optimization software for renewables and storage. The company said its solutions support grid resilience, renewable portfolios and power requirements across nearly 50 markets.
