More companies like Dell Technologies are needed to direct their attention towards creating a more environmentally sustainable future for the planet.

With climate change and environmental degradation posing significant threats, it has become more important than ever to take a proactive approach to reduce waste and protect the planet. Organizations that are realizing this reality have started shifting their focus on sustainability from mere planning to action. Additionally, the Government of India’s stance on green growth for economic development with a focus on sustainable development acts as a pivot for Indian organizations to relook at their sustainability initiatives, investments, and objectives.

Propelling sustainability through innovation is Dell Technologies

Much like digital transformation, sustainability has become a priority for organizations across industries, owing to the growing consciousness of customers, stakeholders, and government mandates. 86% of business leaders recognize sustainability as a crucial investment for protecting their organizations from disruptions1.

From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, and from waste management to sustainable product design, organizations across sectors are steering their sustainable measures to make a positive impact on the environment and society. And one of the forerunners of such green initiatives is the tech giant, Dell Technologies.

Being one of the global leaders in the technology sphere, Dell Technologies has been accelerating sustainability through energy-efficient data centers, servers, and contribution to the circular economy2. The company has also made some promising claims about making its product content from recycled or renewable materials.

Turning the tides for good with EcoLoop

One of the exemplary initiatives by the technology leader is the EcoLoop portfolio of laptop cases. Highlighting the same is a recent video campaign that underpins how these carrying cases are designed from ocean-bound plastics.

Narrating the journey from plastics to convenient cases is the CIO of Lupin Limited, Sreeji Gopinathan, an environmental aficionado. Through inspiring storytelling, the CIO takes the audience deep into the ocean to help realize why one needs to preserve natural resources, followed by how Dell Technologies is raising the bar by combining sustainable design thinking and product usability. This inspiring campaign highlights how innovation and sustainability can coexist.

A recent video campaign showcases the EcoLoop portfolio, emphasizing the sustainable nature of these carrying cases.

EcoLoop Story

The planet needs more organizations like Dell Technologies to funnel their focus toward designing a greener future. A world where everyone plays their part to protect what matters – will be a world that is bountiful enough for everyone to thrive.
