NEW DELHI: Dalmia Bharat, world’s greenest cement company bagged the prestigious National Awards from National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) for 2015-16 and 2016-17 across six categories today.
Mahendra Singhi, Group CEO – Dalmia Bharat Cement said, “This award will inspire us to continue our endeavour for the betterment of our environment and our mother nature.”
The company received awards in the categories namely, Best Environmental Excellence in Cement Plants (Aliyalur TN 2016-17), Best Electrical energy Performance (Dalmiapuram TN 2015-16), Best Electrical energy Performance (Aliyalur TN 2016-17), 2nd Best Environmental Excellence in Cement Plants (Dalmiapuram TN 2015-16), Best Improvement in Electrical Energy performance (Dalmiapuram TN 2016-17) and 2nd Best Improvement in Thermal Energy Performance (Dalmiapuram TN 2016-17).
National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), is an administrative body that works to promote research and scientific work connected with cement and building materials trade and industry in India.
