Yamaha Expands CSR Support for Healthcare and Community Safety in Noida
NEW DELHI (India CSR): India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd., as part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, has undertaken a series of impactful initiatives recently aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure and enhancing community safety in Noida and Nearby areas.
As part of the community welfare initiatives, Yamaha extended its support to the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health (PGICH), Noida – an autonomous institute under the Government of Uttar Pradesh dedicated to providing high-quality paediatric healthcare, advanced medical education, and cutting-edge research. On 29th June 2026, the company handed over a Blood Donation Van to the institute. The fully equipped van is fitted with motorized donor couches, blood collection monitors, refrigeration systems, air conditioning, power backup, and other essential facilities to support efficient operations. In addition, a ROTEM (Rotational Thromboelastometry) machine is also provided, which will significantly enhance critical care by enabling precise and rapid coagulation analysis during surgeries and medical emergencies, thereby strengthening PGICH’s ability to deliver life-saving care.
Furthering its healthcare support, 10 Multi Para Monitors were also donated to the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Noida. These advanced medical devices are designed to simultaneously track vital parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate, providing real-time data that enables healthcare professionals to make faster and more accurate clinical decisions. Donation ceremony organized on 16th June 2026, the addition of these monitors will strengthen emergency response capabilities, improve patient safety through early detection of complications, and reduce the manual workload on frontline healthcare workers.
Aligned with community safety, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. also partnered with local police authorities to support the establishment of a Police Booth in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Inaugurated on 30th June 2026, at Lakhnawali under the Surajpur Commissionerate, the facility was launched in the presence of senior officials including Mr. Ajay Kumar (IPS), DIG, along with other senior police officials and representatives from Yamaha. The Police Booth is expected to enhance law enforcement visibility, improve response times, and strengthen community policing efforts in the region. This initiative also aims to foster a safer environment, by improving accessibility to law enforcement and building greater trust between the community and public safety agencies.
