NATIONAL Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Lara’s CSR Department extended financial help to underprivileged students of class 10th and 12th by distributing cheques
under its Utkarsh Scholarship initiative.
This financial grant of Rs 3000 was provided to each of the 14 students belonging to project affected villages (PAVs).
The students currently study in the Government Higher Secondary Schools of Mahloi and Rengalpali, and were also given a certificate of merit.
National Thermal Power Corporation Lara’s Executive Director Alok Gupta handed over the cheques to the students and extended his best wishes for their academic future.
Also present in the ceremony were Kanhaiya Das, AGM (HR) and Sujita Rath, DGM (HR) who congratulated the students on this well-deserved
accomplishment.
