ANGUL (India CSR): JSP Foundation, the social and CSR arm of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP), in association with the District Administration, Angul, inaugurated the Biju Pattnaik Park at Pallahara in Angul district. The community park, long awaited by the locals, was officially opened by Angul Collector and District Magistrate Sidhharth Shankar Swain (IAS) and the Honourable MLA of Pallahara, Mukesh Kumar Pal.

Spread over 3.5 acres in the town’s heart, the park boasts modern infrastructure and amenities, including a picturesque pond, manicured lawns, artistically designed pathways, and facilities for all ages, like play areas for children, an open-air gym, and dedicated spaces for senior citizens.
JSP’s Vision for Inclusive Development
JSP’s President & Group Head (CSR) Prashant Hota shared that the park is part of the vision of JSP’s Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal and Chairperson Smt. Shallu Jindal for inclusive development in Odisha. The park’s state-of-the-art facilities are designed to enhance the lives of Pallahara residents.
Community Participation in the Inauguration
The event saw the participation of Pallahara’s Sub Collector Shri Susanta Kumar Pati (OAS), Block Chairperson Smt. Reena Rani Naik, and other dignitaries.
