Sandeep Modi, Interim CFO Hindustan Zinc addressed the CA fraternity and spoke about the ever-changing role of CAs and their importance in nation development
Udaipur: Hindustan Zinc partnered with Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI organize a two-day national conference for all the Chartered Accountants on the topic of “Changeover: A Process of Juggling”. The event hosts more than 1200 CAs from all around the world expanding their knowledge base in the field of accounting, taxation, laws & regulations and stock markets. The conference aimed at a bringing a platform for interaction, knowledge sharing and witness the evolution of CA course over the years.
Addressing the CA fraternity, Sandeep Modi, Interim CFO Hindustan Zinc said, “CA course has drastically evolved over the years. From mere account keeping, it is now taking over the world in form of CXOs of biggest business conglomerates. The role of CA has evolved from the contemporaries and by leveraging expertise the profession is bringing a paradigm shift in the way the world deals with financial problems. This has made Chartered Accountants an inevitable part of the economic growth and nation building.
The two-day conference based on the theme of “Changeover: A Process of Juggling” host several talks from industry experts which includes the likes of CA Atul Gupta, CA Sanjay Agarwal, Mr Sandeep Jain and many more. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, for regulating the profession of Chartered Accountancy in the country. The Institute, functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The ICAI is the second largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest.
