Today the BOSCH Industry-Academia Collaboration Cell was inaugurated at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) by the Development Commissioner of Bihar, Shri Vivek Kumar Singh.
On this occasion, Shri Pravir Kumar, Jio Reliance- Bihar, was also present as a special guest. They were welcomed by Dr.Rana Singh, Director of CIMP. The event was graced by Shri Kumod Kumar, CEO of CIMP BIIF, Head Administration Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Prof.KalyanAgrawal, Chairman of Industry-Academia Cell Prof. Rajeev Verma and all the faculty members of CIMP.
The BOSCH Cell at CIMP will focus on Skill development and capacity building and career development of students. The BOSCH group is a leading global supplier of innovative technology and services.
Speaking at the inauguration of the BOSCH Industry-Academia Collaboration Cell, Shri Vivek Singh said, “Vibrancy of Campus is directly proportional to the academic behaviour and quality of alumni and for that matter campus of CIMP is very vibrant and quality of students, as well as institution’s track record, has been very good.” While talking about the education system in Bihar, he proposed the idea of ‘Extra Edge Club’ at campus on the lines of ‘KushalYuva Program’ to make the students stand out in the market. He said, “Art of articulation, self-confidence and soft skill development will help in better employability and better execution of managerial works.”
On this occasion, Mr. Pravir Kumar, CEO of Reliance Jio Bihar, also praised CIMP for coming up with new ventures and initiatives and keeping the reputation of the institution high. Sharing his experience of market operations and employability demands of the current market, he said that the BOSCH Industry-Academia Collaboration Cell would directly benefit the students in getting better placement opportunities in the cut throat market competition. Dr.Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, during his address, welcomed the idea of ‘Extra Edge Club’ proposed by Shri Vivek Singh and emphasized on the increasing need & importance of Industry-Academia Collaborations for Skill Development and employability.
He also congratulated and appreciated the team of CIMP for the new feather in its cap. He further said that CIMP shall always take the lead in such future ready programs and make optimum use of this facility for holistic skill development programs.
