Dhamra: Adani Foundation in association with Odisha Blood Bank, Bhadrak organised a Blood Donation drive at Dhamra Port. The Adani Group organization created a new district record by contributing 601 units of blood in a single day.
Company informed that the employees, workers, family members and port associates took a combined pledge to contribute to nation building by donating blood and other voluntary services for betterment of society at a large.
Chief Executive Officer of Dhamra Port Subrat Tripathy commenced the drive by donating blood for the noble cause.
“Blood donations can give a new lease of life to many. This thought was overwhelmingly put into action by the entire Adani Parivar during the Blood Donation Drive. The enthusiasms among donors speak volumes about the commitment of the Adani Group towards contributing for welfare of the society.”, company said.
The practice of giving is universally recognized as one of the greatest human virtues, which affirms the depth of humanity.
The Foundation works in four chosen areas of intervention namely – Education, healthcare, sustainable livelihood development and rural infrastructure development. It endeavors to make the less fortunate ones of the society self-reliant sustainable through its chosen CSR initiatives and towards bettering as many lives as it can by bringing smiles to the communities.
