Vinati Organics Limited has joined the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic by contributing Rs. 1 Crore to the Prime Minister CARES Fund and supporting various initiatives to provide food and other daily essentials to lower income populations. It has spent around Rs. 40 lakhs in providing for food kits, ventilator and sanitizers.
DCM Shriram Ltd has set up a Rs 15 crore COVID-19 contingency fund, from which Rs 10 crore contribution is being made to the PM-CARES fund to support the government’s efforts to handle this health emergency.
The Edelweiss Group has made a humble contribution of Rs. 2 cr to PM CARES and Rs. 50 lakhs to the CMO Maharashtra for Corona relief. This contribution by the Edelweiss Group is over and above their annual mandatory CSR spend.
