The company follows the CSR mandate as per Section 135 of the Companies Act, ensuring strategic execution of CSR activities in alignment with Schedule VII of the Act, its Annual Report 2023-24 revealed.
The CSR Committee oversees the planning and implementation of these initiatives, ensuring effective governance, transparency, and social impact, the report said.
CSR Spending Highlights
For the financial year 2023-24, Capri Global Housing Finance Limited had a CSR obligation of Rs. 113.86 Lakhs, based on the company’s average net profit of Rs. 5693.06 Lakhs over the last three years. The company not only met but exceeded this obligation, spending Rs. 119.69 Lakhs on various CSR activities.

The company’s CSR initiatives focus on education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, ensuring meaningful contributions to society. The funds were allocated to impactful projects that address pressing social challenges.
Notable CSR Project: Solar Lifting System Installation
One of the significant projects undertaken by the company in FY 2023-24 was the installation of a solar lifting system unit in Ghatkarpada, Taluka Mokhada, District Palghar, Maharashtra. This initiative was executed in collaboration with Action Related To The Organisation Of Education, Health, And Nutrition (Aroehan), a Mumbai-based NGO.
