MUMBAI: EMCO Foundation (EF), a CSR wing of EMCO Ltd. organized Blood Donation Camps under project “Jeevan” simultaneously at Thane Plant, Two plants at Jalgaon (J1 & J2), and Dadra on 7 November and at Vadodara plant on 21November with help of local reputed Blood Banks. Employees, their family members, service providing agencies, customer and visitors took part in the donation. Total 308 units of blood were collected through these camps.
The preparation were started well in advance at EF which included one to one talk with Employees, screen savers on individual PC with message of blood donation request, informative posters were displayed in the plant premises and motivational movie clips on blood donation were circulated. All these resulted in maximum participation in blood donation. All donor champions were felicitated with a appreciation certification and a gift as token of affection.
This was the third year of EF organizing blood donation camps at various locations of EMCO Ltd. through these camps so far EF donated 1326 units of blood.
