‘India CSR Boardroom’ will be organised on 27th August, 2020 from 4 to 5 PM. The maiden edition of India CSR Boardroom themed ‘Art of CSR Spending’ will present Conversation with Sita Ram Gupta, the Executive Director of Lupin Foundation.

India CSR, world’s leading CSR media platform is organising this forum. The conversation will be moderated by Rusen Kumar, Founder of India CSR.

Gupta will share his views on the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes in socio-economic development and how organisations should effectively use CSR funds.

The ‘CSR Boardroom’

‘CSR Boardroom’ is the unique digital platform through which senior leaders of business, corporate foundation and civil society organisations can speak and deliberate on CSR and social impact.

“Landscape of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending has changed in lockdown and Covid-19, and it may be quite challenging for corporate led social development programmes.”, Rusen Kumar said.

Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur last month said that the industry should not shy away from spending its CSR fund as it would help make India a better place for present and future generations.

In this context the ‘India CSR Boardroom’ provides a distinctive opportunity for leaders across industries to showcase insights on leadership, vision , strategy and changing and effective use of corporate social responsibility funds. The forum deliberates over the present challenges in the fast-changing environment of CSR in a pandemic crisis,  Kumar added.
