New Delhi: AROH Foundation organised a webinar “Home, Health and Happiness” to celebrate the International Day of Yoga 2020. The Webinar was attended by more than 100 participants from different walks of life. Several participants joined from overseas.

Dr Neelam Gupta, President & CEO, AROH Foundation, moderated the webinar, which brought together renowned yoga guru,Dr Ravi Yogi and Mental Health &Pranic Healing Expert Ms Nita Aryasomayajula to share their insights on how the ancient philosophy of yoga can help in leading a healthy, happy and stress-free life and how mental health leads to healthy life.

Dr Yogi took a practical session to show some easy Yoga Asanas which can help people in maintaining their mental and physical health and wellbeing. Ms Aryasomayajula guided the participants on how to deal with escalating issues of depression, loneliness, anxiety and stress during covid through counseling and conversations.

An educating question answer session further nurtured the audience to deal with physical and mental obstacles in leading a healthy life through yoga and mental wellness. Adding icing to the cake, all participants were also provided with a participation certificate at the end of the webinar.

Closing the webinar and thanking the guests and participants, Dr Neelam said “Yoga is an invaluable ancient Indian practice with numerous benefits to both physical and mental health. Given the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic including restrictions on the movement of people and a slowdown in economic activity, the benefits offered by Yoga have become especially important for physical and mental wellbeing. Of particular importance are its proven benefits on general health and immunity enhancement, along with its globally accepted role as a stress buster,” she said.
