BANGALORE (India CSR): Leading the way in innovation, Aranyakaa Farms today announced the launch of their latest sustainable farmland project called H2O – Harvesting a Brighter Tomorrow. Spanning 61 acres, this path breaking initiative is located at Beragai near Bangalore aimed at addressing the city’s growing water shortage through innovative water conservation measures. The project, which is ideally located 42 kilometers from Sarjapur – Outer Ring Road Junction Bellandur and 30 kilometers from Whitefield, aims to create a water-secure future for the region. Following Bangalore’s serious water crisis in March 2024, H2O was proposed as a solution to the city’s long-term water supply problems. With a focus on sustainability, the initiative envisions a better tomorrow in which water supplies are safeguarded for future generations.
Vision of the H2O Project
Named H2O – Harvesting a Brighter Tomorrow, the project’s vision stems from the belief that the next 15 years are crucial for Bangalore to become entirely water- sufficient. It therefore stresses that water preservation must start now to guarantee well provided resources ahead. H2O emphasizes Aranyakaa Farms’ ongoing dedication to sustainable development and community welfare. The H2O project features advanced water preservation techniques, including the installation of 20-30 rainwater harvesting recharge pits to replenish underground water sources. It also incorporates recharging wells for deep water infiltration and man-made lakes for above-ground water storage. These initiatives are designed to address and manage water challenges effectively over the next 10 years.
Water Preservation Techniques and Initiatives
The project is characterized by a two and a half-acre man-made lake, which contributes to the conservation of local Hydrosphere while maintaining the Water Table which enhances its attractiveness while making it a sustainable development. These projects are intended to make H2O a reference point in environment friendly water management that covers both subsurface and surface needs.
Additional Sustainable Components
On top of saving water, this program will incorporate various sustainable designs that promote eco friendly lifestyles and community involvement. The highlights comprise a Sustainable Clubhouse spanning across 4 acres and constructed using green architecture principles; a Gaushala advocating organic, sustainable farming; Biopool providing natural swimming experience; Temple aimed at spiritual bonding in society.
Location and Future Growth of the Hosur Economic Corridor (HEC)
The Project is also located in the soon to Boom Hosur Economic Corridor (HEC) which will soon have an Airport, Industrial and technology parks and better connectivity due to the development of the STRR, PRR and Metro Connectivity which will also give a long term appreciation for the land in itself. For a more appealing vacation home, nearby attractions include Krishnagiri Fort, Hogenakkal Falls, and Shoolagiri Hills.
A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Society
The mix of these constituents is geared towards a tranquil, green setting where nature and society can coexist in harmony. “We are extremely excited to unveil our Code Name H2O initiative that is designed to address one of the most crucial problems confronting Bangalore – water scarcity. This project will have a far reaching impact on the wellbeing of the community and environment as it incorporates innovative methods for conserving water,” said Amit Porwal, Director at Aranyakaa Farms.
