Maharashtra CSR Summit is must attending for Companies, Corporate Foundation, NGOs and developmental agencies implementing CSR, social development and SDGs projects in Maharashtra.

MUMBAI (India CSR): Anshu Taneja, the Global Vice President and Managing Director, India of VisionSpring is invited to speak at Maharashtra CSR Summit in Mumbai at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan Auditorium, Nariman Point on July 27.

Anshu Taneja, a visionary leader in the world of eye care, will be talking about how VisionSpring increases access to eyeglasses primarily through three key programs: See to Earn, See to Learn, and See to be Safe. 

Anshu Taneja said, “Our goal is a Clear Vision India, where 500 million people suffer from vision impairment that can be fixed with a pair of glasses. We know we can solve this problem with the help of our growing network of partners. We’ve built strong relationships with more than 500 CSRs, eye hospitals, NGOs, and government authorities.

“VisionSpring is making the wonder of clear vision possible for everyone in India. We awaken a world of earning, learning, and beauty through eyeglasses specially for less privileged people,” said Anshu Taneja, Global Vice President and Managing Director, India of VisionSpring.

“It gives us immense pleasure to be a part of this conference. This forum will play an important role for the betterment of the social sector. We are committed to making this forum a grand success.”, he added.

FUEL – Friends Union for Energising Lives, a Pune-based national reputed Non-Profit organisation is a presenting partner of this prestigious Summit being hosted by India CSR. The state-level annual forum that would also feature Maharashtra CSR Awards and Exhibition, would witness the largest gathering of CSR and developmental sector leaders of Maharashtra after the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Summit, which is themed around ‘Leveraging CSR to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Maharashtra is being organised by India CSR Network and aims to put forth the CSR agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Maharashtra state.

About Anshu Tajena

Anshu Taneja leads operations for VisionSpring in India. Anshu has several years of experience working within different countries and across various sectors in a range of roles. Anshu is passionate about leveraging business principles to change the world.

Anshu Taneja received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and is a science graduate from St. Stephen’s College at the University of Delhi.

In 2017, the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, and the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship recognized Anshu as an outstanding alumnus for focusing his career on effecting high-impact, positive change.
