NEW DELHI (India CSR): In a strong reaffirmation of its commitment to environmental stewardship, Alcobrew Distilleries India Ltd. announced the plantation of over 8,000 saplings in association with SayTrees in Hisar, undertaken as part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The plantation drive forms part of Alcobrew’s broader mission to contribute meaningfully to India’s ecological balance. The initiative aims to enhance green cover, support local biodiversity, and foster a healthier environment for the surrounding community.
This latest effort follows closely on the heels of another significant plantation drive by the company, where over 2,000 saplings were planted in Gurgaon, further reflecting Alcobrew’s sustained focus on afforestation and environmental well-being.
With these two initiatives combined, Alcobrew’s total sapling plantations have now crossed the remarkable milestone of 10,000 in FY27 so far — a testament to the company’s growing footprint in environmental conservation and its resolve to give back to the communities and institutions it operates alongside.
