BHUBANESWAR: Aditya Birla Group Company Aditya Aluminium has organized a Dengue Awareness workshop yesterday in the Rengali Block premises in Sambalpur district in Odisha. In the workshop, the Distt. Health Officer of Sambalpur, Dr. Ashok Das, Health Officer of Laida PHC, Dr AshisMajhi, BDO (Block Development Office) Rengali, Sushant Panda, CDPO (Child Development Project Offcier) of Rengali Chhabirani Mohanty, deliberated upon the different aspects of the disease like its prevention, identification and its treatment. In the workshop around 350 Anganwari Workers, SHG members, Health Workers, and the company officials were present.
The CDPO Ms Chhabirani Mohanty appealed all to come forward and make the Rengali Block a Dengue Free block like last year. She too applauded the efforts of the Aditya Aluminium in making this region a dengue-free zone.
Manoranjan Behera, Asst Manager CSR of Aditya Aluminium said that like every year, this year too the Company would continue this activity in the adjacent six villages. Lopamudra Mishra, the CSR Head of company who strategized this workshop, said that the Company will continue this Dengue consciousness campaign and for this she sought the cooperation of the villages.
This workshop was well-coordinated by the local NGO SFA and Swadhin Ekta Sangathan.
