Reinforcing its commitment and servitude towards improving healthcare services in the rural heartland of India, Quick Heal Foundation, the CSR arm of Quick Heal Technologies Limited has donated two state-of-the-art ‘Arogya Yan’ vehicles to the authorities in Washim, Maharashtra.
The donation ceremony was held in the presence of Anupama Katkar, Chairperson – Quick Heal Foundation, Shanmugarajan. S, District Collector, Washim, Vasumana Pant, – CEO, Zilla Parishad, Washim, Kuldeep Jangam) Assistant Collector, and Ajay Shirke, Program Manager, CSR – Quick Heal Foundation. With this initiative, Quick Heal Foundation aims to serve and positively impact more than 1 lakh people from Manora and Risod Talukas by improving healthcare facilities in the region.
Human life is priceless. And it cannot be compromised in the 21st century just for the lack of timely medical aid. Niti Ayog has categorized Washim as one of the Aspirational Districts in 2018, which needs a major revamp. Since there are no proper ambulances to ferry patients to-from hospital, patients manage with private transport like jeeps or rickshaws which is a risky affair.
Started in January 2021, ‘Arogya Yan’ is a part of Quick Heal’s larger CSR vision towards improving healthcare services in India’s rural heartland. After learning the national success of the initiative, Assistant Collector of Washim Kuldeep Jangam reached out to Quick Heal Foundation to support their ongoing efforts to boost healthcare services in the region.
Quick Heal Foundation graciously accepted his request and delivered the ambulances in record time as per the commitment. Quick Heal’s ‘Arogya Yan’ will help doctors and patients in Washim by transporting patients from far-flung zones and delivering healthcare services like routine check-ups, diagnosis, and treatments.
