A step-wise Guide on downloading your JEE Main Admit Card 2021 to avoid confusion

JEE Main will be conducted from 23rd February 2021 onwards. The exam will be conducted in February, March, April, and May i.e., four times a year. The JEE Main admit card 2021 will be available 15 days before the exam online.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main admit card 2021 in the month of the exam only. The students can download the same from the official website only. The students will require their respective application number and password to download their hall tickets.

The students not having their JEE Main admit card 2021 will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances. Step-wise guidance is provided in this article to help the candidates download the admit card without any confusion.

JEE Main 2021 Relevant Dates (February Session)

The JEE Main Admit Card 2021 will be available tentatively 15 days before the exam in the exam month.

The February exams will start from 23rd February 2021 to 26th February 2021.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card 2021?

Step-wise guidance is provided below, following which the candidates can download the JEE Main Admit card 2021:

The student requires to visit the official website of NTA or JEE Main 2021.

The option “Download admit card” will be shown there. The candidate needs to click on the option, which will further ask for a few details.

The students will need their necessary credentials like the application number/date of birth (DOB) and the password to enter the board. After giving the proper credentials and the security code reflected on the screen, the students can see their admit cards.

The JEE Main Admit Card will be displayed on the screen, which the student can download and take the print out later on for the exam.

While downloading the same, the applicant must verify their respective details on the admit card. In case of any issue, one can drop a mail at the registered email id of NTA / JEE Main 2021.

The hall ticket will reflect the details like name of the applicant, address of the applicant, Roll Number, Father Name, Course Name, Date of Birth, Category, Gender, Student’s Photograph, State of eligibility, Test City, Center code, Paper Type, exam dates and the exam centers, etc.

After the necessary details, instructions to attend the exam will also be mentioned properly point-wise below. One must follow all the steps thoroughly to attend the exam.

Students cannot change their roll numbers, dates of exam, exam centers, etc., under any circumstances.

In case the students cannot download the JEE Main admit card 2021 from the official website, they can contact the support team of the exam.

The students can contact them from 10 am to 5 pm during the working days.

In case you forget the application number, then follow the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:

The students must click on the option mentioned: “Forgot your Application Number” on the sign-in page.

The student is required to provide the basic details such as name, parent’s name, DOB, Eligibility, Security PIN.

As soon as the details are verified, the application number will be sent to the applicant to download the JEE Main Hall Ticket.

The candidate must save the same for future reference.

In case you forget the application number, then follow the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:

Click on option “Forgot Password,” which is mentioned on the bottom left of the sign-in page.

The option appears called “Reset Your Password”.

The student will have to choose the option via which the student wants to recover the password.

The link to reset the password will be sent at the respective option selected by the applicant.

By clicking on it, the candidate can reset the password and save the same for future reference.

The Must-Haves during JEE Main 2021 exams

For appearing in the exam, the aspirant must carry one passport-sized photograph. The one used on the JEE Main admit card 2021 will be preferable.

The passport-sized photo will be attached to the attendance sheet at the exam center during the exam.

The students must carry their respective JEE Main Hall Ticket. Without the same, they will not be allowed to sit for the exams. The bar code number will be verified there only.

You must carry any identity proofs such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Enrolment Number, Driving License, Passport, etc. (ones that have not expired).

The identity proof must have a photo attached to it. The document is required for verification purposes.

The aspirant is supposed to carry one filled copy of the Undertaking.

The competent authority will issue a PwD certificate to the candidate who deserves the relaxation. The students who belong to such a category must carry the PwD Category certificate in the exam hall along with their respective JEE Main 2021 Hall Ticket.

JEE Main Admit Card 2021: Covid-19 Advisories

The pandemic of Covid-19 has affected the economy and the lives. NTA issued certain guidelines for the aspirants, which is mandatory for them to follow while appearing for the exam. NTA will also take ample care of the safety of the students.

The guidelines will be mentioned over 3-4 pages. There are a total of 9 points students need to follow before sitting for the exam. Few basic points are mentioned below for providing an overview:

NTA aims to maintain social distancing during exams. Therefore, seating arrangements have been made accordingly. There will be a gap between 2 students.

The seating areas will be sanitized properly before every exam.

Hand sanitizers will be available at the center, but still, it is advised to carry your sanitizers.

Before entering, the bar codes will be verified with the barcode scanner at the exam center’s gate. The hall numbers will be informed to the students at that time only.

The students are always advised to avoid crowding before the exam hall. Candidates are advised to maintain a distance of 6 feet while standing in a queue while entering the hall. Further, the temperatures of the candidates will be recorded before entering the exam hall.

The students must carry their respective face masks. The candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam in case they fail to carry their masks.
