Noida: Jakson Care, CSR arm of Jackson Group has partnered with an NGO Niveda Foundation to supply groceries in Noida’s Nithari Village.
Under this initiative, 300 families in one of the largest & most venerable slums in the city will be benefited.
Company in a statement said, this initiative will feed a population of 1200 people 65% of which comprise women & children for a period of 3 weeks.
The beneficiaries will also get hand sanitisers to promote hygiene practices in the area.
Soraya Rebello, CSR Head of the group said, ” We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has put us all in a state of crisis that continues to unfold every day. During this phase of the 21 day lockdown, many Indians from economically backward sections have faced extreme challenges.”
“These include Daily wage workers who are either labourers, rickshaw pullers & domestic help”, she added.
