The delegation was led by Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Yên Bái Provincial People’s Council. The importance of this observational and bilaterally educational visit is many-fold considering R K Marble owns quarries at Yên Bái Province of Vietnam.
On 28th March, the delegation visited the Morwad Mines owned by R K Marble, where the delegation was received with boundless enthusiasm by the welcoming party of R K Marble comprising of the Director of the R K Vietnam Group, Kamal Kumar Sogani and Director Do Thi Hong. A traditional welcome was extended by Nirmal Kumar Jain, R.B. Mehta, A.K. Shrimali and Rajendra Boda.
This one day visit to Morwad Mines, included an outdoor inspection and a ceremonial presentation on ‘Sustainable Working’. R K Marble thrives on the gifts of nature and ergo, takes is upon themselves to keep on discovering and inventing more sustainable ways of fulfilling the demand of the market.
The delegation was extremely impressed by the finesse in the extraction and processing of marbles conducted with the aid of state-of-the-art technology. R K Marble’s commitment towards environment and a sustainable growth, utilising technological enhancements in order to guide the marble industry towards a brighter tomorrow, casted deep imprints in the hearts of the delegation.
After inspecting the Morwad Mines, on 29th of March, 2018, the delegation paid a special visit to the Corporate and Sales Office of R K Marble at Kishangarh where the heartiest welcome was proffered by a welcoming party comprising of R K Marble’s Emeritus Chairman, Ashok Patni, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Suresh Patni and Vimal Patni, themselves.
The delegation undertook an elaborate tour of the facilities owned by the company and were tremendously impressed by the innovative landmark ideas led by R K Marble as discussed in the presentation after the tour. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra called this experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn the ideals and principles involved in the making of a marble giant as R K Marble.
Pham Thi Thanh Tra further said, “The recent India visits of Vietnamese Prime Minister and President have opened wider channels of trade and commerce between the two countries and this visit will strengthen the bond between Yên Bái Province and R K Marble. The momentum imparted by the mutual exchange of knowledge and trust will help in the consequent surmountable development of R K Marble and, with them, that of Yên Bái Province.”
R K Marble’s Executive President, R. K. Gupta replies on the same, “The process of interacting with the people who are hand-on involved with the development and progress of marble and stones, recharges us and gives us an insight in the procedural difficulties that they face at their end in Vietnam. The work culture and industrial efforts that people of a country put in vary and with that varies the output that is generated eventually. Grasping these concepts becomes easier with these visits as both parties benefit from the exchange of ideas and then, the cultural difference in the working mechanism of a group like R K Marble, with quarries at two different places, either minimises or is optimised sequentially. This, in turn, strengthens our company.”
