WEST BOKARO: A cardiac care ambulance was dedicated to the people of West Bokaro today by Rajeev Singhal, Vice President (Raw Materials), Tata Steel in the presence of Sanjay Kumar Singh, General Manager (Coal), Tata Steel and Mohan Mahato, President, Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Sangh (RCMS).
The cardiac care ambulance procured at a cost of Rs 26.64 lakh will be in addition to the existing 4 ambulances that Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro owns.
Moreover, it has additional features like auto loader stretcher, spine board, head immobilizer, emergency kit rescue bag, oxygen system, air conditioner, rescue tools, etc.
Apart from transporting severe cases to the hospital, the cardiac care ambulance will be used for rescuing the number of road accident cases who lose their life on their way to the hospital due to lack of advanced facilities in the ambulances.
Present at the Tata Central Hospital on the occasion were Sahabji Kuchroo, Chief, Operations, West Bokaro; Dr B R P Rao, Chief Medical Officer, Tata Central Hospital; Praveen Sinha, Chief, Human Resource Management along with other senior officials of Tata Steel West Bokaro Division and RCMS Union office bearers.
