MUMBAI: MUMBAI: HDFC Bank Limited is looking for Manager Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Position to be based at Mumbai (Maharashtra) with frequent field visit to other parts of country, a company official informed India CSR Network. Application is being accepted till July 8, 2017. 2-3 years of relevant experience is required for applicants.
HDFC Bank Ltd was promoted in the year 1994 by the premier housing finance company of the country, HDFC Ltd. The Bank commenced operations as a Scheduled Commercial Bank in January 1995.
Job Purposes
- To manage the developmental needs of the region/ areas being managed.
- To monitor and scaleup the projects in the respective portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and execute projects in keeping with the CSR Policy
- Build relationships with partner/implementing organizations
- Project monitoring (through onsite visits & reports)
- To ensure achievement of desired outcomes
- Report on the overall program impact
- Manage the program budget
- Ensure compliance with the CSR Policy and process.
Areas of Responsibility
- Principal activities
- Designing and managing execution of projects in keeping with the CSR policy
- Identification of programs in line with the CSR Policy
- Screening proposals and assessing feasibility
- Developing work plans and budgets
- Assessing feasibility of execution
- Creating implementation strategies
- Setting project targets
- Build relationships with partner/implementing organizations
- Identification and diligence of implementation partners
- Empanelment
- Orientation and capacity building of partner organisations
- Project monitoring
- Periodic screening of reports
- Monitoring progress (Through reports and visits)
- To make mid- course corrections where required

Skills And Knowledge
- Experience in grassroot program management including planning and budgeting (Experience in education, training and rural development will be an added advantage) ability to travel extensively in rural locations.
- Good communication and networking skills, knowledge of basic excel and MIS Management
Educational Qualifications
Post Graduate qualification in Social Work or a relevant diploma/degree in Sustainability Or CSR is desired
