Meenakshi Sharma is a faculty in Communication at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has a Ph. D. and M. A. (Research) in English from the University of Queensland, Australia, and a M. A. (English) from Lucknow University.
Her teaching career has covered institutions in India and Australia, and she has taught in the areas of Business Communication, English Literature, and Post-colonial theory and literatures. Her research and publications are also in these areas.
Her current areas of interest are communication strategies for creating and maintaining high morale, communication and corporate culture, communication of ethics, intercultural communication, and the status of English in India.
Her publications include a book on Postcolonial Indian Writing and a number of articles in international referred journals. She has presented research papers at conferences in India and abroad.
Prof. Sharma regularly coordinates and teaches on Executive Development Programmes on effective communication strategies for leaders and for management professional.
