RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH: Raipur United Round Table 344 (RURT 344) marked an important milestone in its education and community development initiatives with the Bhumi Poojan ceremony for its upcoming FTE project at Sarora Government Middle and Higher Secondary School, Sarora, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Tuesday, September 2, 2026.

As part of the project, four new classrooms and three toilet blocks are proposed to be constructed at the school, aimed at strengthening the existing educational infrastructure and creating a better learning environment for students.

Senior leadership from Area 3, including the Area Chairman and Area Secretary-Treasurer, was also present on the occasion.

Strengthening education through infrastructure

The FTE project is part of the broader commitment of Round Table India towards improving educational infrastructure and creating better facilities for children.

The proposed construction of four classrooms is expected to provide additional academic space for students and help the school accommodate its educational requirements more effectively. The three new toilet blocks will further contribute towards improving sanitation and basic facilities on the school campus.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of Raipur United Round Table 344 highlighted the importance of creating sustainable educational infrastructure for children.

> “Education is not only about classrooms and books; the environment in which children learn also plays an important role in shaping their future. Through this project, our endeavour is to provide students with better classrooms and essential facilities that can support their education for years to come,” said a representative of Raipur United Round Table 344.

A collective effort

The Bhumi Poojan ceremony also reflected the collaborative spirit of Round Table India, with members of RURT 344 and Area 3 leadership coming together for an initiative focused on the long-term development of the school.

The presence of the Area Chairman and Area Secretary-Treasurer, along with members representing the participating Tables, underscored the collective commitment towards education-focused projects in the region.

Raipur United Round Table 344 has been actively associated with initiatives aimed at supporting education and community development, with the organisation focusing on projects that create tangible and long-term benefits for society.

The Sarora school project is another step in that direction, with the upcoming infrastructure expected to benefit students and the wider school community.

Building a better future

With the commencement of the FTE project, Raipur United Round Table 344 aims to contribute towards creating a stronger educational environment for students of Sarora Government Middle and Higher Secondary School.

The project represents more than the construction of classrooms and sanitation facilities—it is an investment in creating a better environment in which children can learn, grow and build their future.

The Bhumi Poojan ceremony marks the beginning of this journey, with the members of RURT 344 and Area 3 reaffirming their commitment to supporting education and community development through meaningful infrastructure projects.
