Billionaires for Peace Conclave to Bring 5 Nobel Peace Laureates to Mumbai on 21 May 2026

Historic by-invitation gathering will unite 280 global peace changemakers at Grand Hyatt Mumbai

MUMBAI (India CSR): The Billionaires for Peace Conclave will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel & Residences, bringing together a distinguished circle of global peace leaders, changemakers, patrons and peace advocates.

The refreshed creative for the event confirms that the conclave will feature 5 Nobel Peace Laureates, reflecting a significant update in the event’s global participation. The event is designed as a historic gathering of 280 global peace changemakers under the theme “Peace Meets Purpose & Progress.”

5 Nobel Peace Laureates to Join the Conclave

The conclave will feature participation from five globally respected Nobel Peace Laureates and peace leaders. The confirmed names include Honourable Kailash Satyarthi from India, Honourable Leymah Roberta Gbowee from Liberia, Honourable Houcine Abassi from Tunisia, Honourable Prof. Mohan Munasinghe from Sri Lanka, and His Excellency José Manuel Ramos-Horta from Timor-Leste, who is listed as joining through Zoom.

The updated participation marks a major development for the Mumbai conclave, as the platform seeks to carry the message of inner peace, collective responsibility and humanitarian purpose to a wider global audience.

Gathering of Global Peace Changemakers

According to the event creative, the by-invitation conclave will bring together 40 Champion Awardees, 40 Billionaire Patrons, 72 VIP Peace Partners, 72 I Am Peacekeepers, 4 Chief Guests, 7 Guests of Special Honour, and 40 Guests of Honour.

The event is being positioned as a platform where peace, leadership and service to humanity come together. The conclave aims to transform shared purpose into collective action and create a dignified space for conversations around compassion, global cooperation and humanitarian progress.

Special Message from Prof. Mohan Munasinghe

Ahead of the conclave, a special message from Honourable Professor Mohan Munasinghe has been released across the social media platforms of the I Am Peacekeeper movement. Organisers said the message deserves to travel “gently, widely and warmly across the world.”

The communication expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Munasinghe for sharing his message for the Billionaires for Peace Conclave in Mumbai. It also stated that the conclave should carry the “quiet strength of inner peace into the wider world” and become a sincere offering towards a more compassionate tomorrow.

Founder’s Vision

The conclave is led by Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Founder of the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, Executive Director of Wockhardt Limited, CEO of Wockhardt Foundation, Chairman of the Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit, and Chairman of Billionaires for Peace. His profile describes him as a global humanitarian, peace advocate and healthcare leader whose initiatives have transformed millions of lives.

Dr. Khorakiwala’s work is rooted in seven human values: Truth, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Love, Humility, Giving and Patience. His I Am Peacekeeper Movement has united more than 2.1 million peacekeepers online across seven continents.

Healthcare and Humanitarian Leadership

Beyond his peace initiatives, Dr. Khorakiwala also leads significant humanitarian work through Wockhardt Foundation. Under his leadership, the Mobile 1000 initiative has provided free primary healthcare to more than 40 million underprivileged people in rural India over 12 years.

He also organised the Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit, which hosted 10 Nobel Peace Laureates in Dubai in April 2025 and launched the Peace Charter, described as a symbolic “Love Letter to Humanity.”

With Nobel Peace Laureates, philanthropists, peace advocates, VIP partners and global changemakers expected to participate, the Billionaires for Peace Conclave aims to become a major international platform for peace-led leadership.
