NEW DELHI (India CSR): The Supreme Court Committee on Relief & Rehabilitation in Manipur, constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and chaired by Hon’ble Chief Justice Gita Mittal (Retd.), has aimed at rebuilding livelihoods in the aftermath of the State’s internal conflict and undertaken a series of pragmatic and meaningful steps in this regard. One such pathbreaking step has been an engagement backed by the Government of Manipur and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Under this, Primero Skills & Training Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed as an agency to undertake skilling/training of internally-displaced youths of Manipur in different specialities/fields, including the hospitality industry and aviation sector.
A part of this national rehabilitation initiative, Si Nonna’s has partnered with Primero Skills & Training Pvt. Ltd. to empower the youth of Manipur who have been trained and skilled. Building on this initiative, Si Nonna’s has taken a proactive role in supporting the Government of India’s vision of creating structured employment opportunities for the nation’s youth and aiding the efforts for the rehabilitation of IDPs in Manipur. Through its continued alignment with public-sector efforts, the brand has emerged as a forward-looking, purpose-driven player within the hospitality industry. By taking on a role beyond conventional business boundaries, Si Nonna’s is advancing inclusive growth while contributing to national progress.
As part of this ongoing collaboration, Si Nonna’s hosted members of the Supreme Court Committee along with representatives from Primero Skills at its Connaught Place, Delhi outlet on 13.04.2026 (Monday). The visiting delegation included Hon’ble Chief Justice Gita Mittal (Retd.), Shri Ravinder Dutt Sharma, Registrar, Shri Ajeet Jha, Director and Jayanta Das (Founder and Managing Director of Primero Skills & Training Pvt. Ltd.), along with six representatives from Primero Skills. The visit served as an important on-ground engagement, enabling the Committee to directly interact with employees from Manipur who have been placed through this initiative, and assess how structured skilling programmes are translating into meaningful employment outcomes.

Primero Skills & Training Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed by the Government of Manipur as its implementing partner for skill development and rehabilitation of Manipuri youth, and has been running structured residential training programmes both in Manipur and in Delhi to equip Manipuri candidates with industry-relevant competencies. Under the partnership, candidates undergo a one-to-two-month certification programme at Primero Skills before being assessed and interviewed by Si Nonna’s HR team. Those selected are placed in roles including servers, shift supervisors, and junior pizzaiolos at Si Nonna’s outlets in Delhi & Ahmedabad, giving them a structured, fast-track career pathway within the hospitality industry and a stable foundation to rebuild their lives.
