KOLKATA: CSR Standing Committee of MCCI is organising a Training Workshop on ‘How Corporate Social Responsibility Leads to Financial Performance’ by Malaysia based CSR Consultant- ‘Kohana’ on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 3 p.m., at MCC Chamber of Commerce & Industry Conference Hall. Mr. Vijay Kapur and Ms Enakshi Sengupta, Executive Directors from Kohana- a CSR Consultancy – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are the faculties for the workshop.
Here is brief about the Faculties:
Vijay Kapur
Vijay Kapur, Executive Director, Kohana – a Dedicated CSR Consultancy has over 20 years of experience working in the field of social responsibility, reputation management and strategic communication.
He is an MBA with Merit from University of Nottingham and received a Distinction in his Management Project in CSR. He had the opportunity of studying CSR under stalwarts in the world. He is also pursuing his PhD in CSR in Malaysia. He has co-authored a book with Enakshi Sengupta called “Essentials in Corporate Social Responsibility” which was launched by Hon’ble Minister Shri Salman Khurshid. He has co-authored another book with Enakhsi Sengupta on “21 Best Case Studies in CSR”, which is forth-coming and is presently been commissioned to write a book on CSR with an Indian perspective.
Enakshi Sengupta
Enakshi Sengupta, Executive Director, Kohana – a Dedicated CSR consultancy is a CSR and Communication specialist with over 16 years of experience. She is an MBA with Merit from the University of Nottingham, specializing in CSR and Strategic Management and pursuing PhD from the same University. She received a Distinction in her Management Project on CSR.
She has also completed her Professional Diploma in Public Relations from The Charter Institute of Public Relations, UK and Diploma in Marketing Management and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK . She has done her Masters in English Literature from Calcutta University, a Bachelor’s degree in English Honours from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Calcutta University. She has co authored books with Vijay Kapur as detailed above.
