INDIA CSR NEWS ANALYSIS

CSR Focus Areas: Empowering People and Protecting the Planet

Cash ur Drive’s CSR approach in 2025 was built around two primary themes:

  1. Skill Development and Community Support
  2. Environmental Plantation and Pollution Prevention

Both initiatives were implemented locally in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), ensuring that the company’s CSR efforts directly benefit the communities surrounding its operational presence.

Project 1: Skill Development for Deprived Communities

A major share of the CSR budget was dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged groups through education and livelihood support.

The company allocated Rs 9.10 lakh toward the project titled:

“Skill Development of Deprived Section of Community”

This initiative was designed as a multi-dimensional programme focusing on:

  • Educational support for children
  • Food distribution for vulnerable populations
  • Community-based skill-building opportunities
  • Integration of sustainability practices into training frameworks

By investing in skill development, Cash ur Drive aims to create pathways for long-term self-reliance rather than temporary assistance. Such interventions are critical in urban and semi-urban regions like NCR, where socio-economic inequalities remain pronounced.

This project reflects the company’s understanding that human development must remain central to inclusive corporate progress.

Project 2: Plantation and Prevention of Environmental Pollution

In alignment with its positioning as a promoter of “green media” solutions, Cash ur Drive also directed substantial CSR resources toward environmental sustainability.

The company spent Rs 9.90 lakh on the project titled:

“Plantation and Prevention of Environment Pollution”

Delhi NCR continues to face severe environmental challenges, including air pollution, reduced green cover, and climate stress. This initiative sought to address these concerns through plantation drives and pollution prevention efforts.

Beyond tree plantation, the environmental programme also carried broader social linkages, supporting:

  • Community health improvement
  • Women empowerment opportunities
  • Tribal welfare inclusion
  • Rural development support through sustainability outreach

This approach highlights that environmental action is not isolated—it intersects directly with health, livelihoods, and equity.

Implementation Partner: Akashiganga Foundation

Recognising that effective CSR delivery requires grassroots expertise, Cash ur Drive implemented its CSR projects through the Akashiganga Foundation, an experienced NGO partner.

By working with a specialised implementing agency, the company ensured that:

  • CSR funds were utilised efficiently
  • Activities reached the intended beneficiaries
  • Projects were monitored and executed responsibly

Such partnerships are increasingly essential for companies seeking measurable impact rather than symbolic spending.

CSR Governance: Oversight Through a Dedicated Committee

Cash ur Drive’s CSR initiatives were guided by a structured governance mechanism through its CSR Committee, which met four times during the year.

The committee comprised:

  • Raghu Khanna (Chairman)
  • Parveen K. Khanna (Member)
  • Alok Nigam (Member) – Former IAS officer and Independent Director

This combination of corporate leadership and administrative experience strengthens accountability and ensures CSR initiatives align with statutory requirements and ethical standards.

Financial Growth Supporting Social Investment

The company’s ability to invest in social responsibility is supported by strong financial performance.

For FY ending March 31, 2025, Cash ur Drive reported:

  • Turnover: Rs 139.32 crore (up from ₹101.88 crore in the previous year)
  • Net profit: Rs 17.82 crore

With SEBI’s approval of the company’s Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for an SME IPO, Cash ur Drive is entering a new phase of expansion. This growth trajectory is expected to further strengthen its capacity to invest in community programmes and sustainability initiatives in the years ahead.

Looking Ahead: CSR as a Long-Term Commitment

As CASH UR DRIVE MARKETING LIMITED prepares for future growth in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising and green mobility solutions such as EV-based campaigns, its CSR report for 2025 reflects an organisation committed to responsible progress.

By fully spending Rs 19 lakh on community skill development and environmental protection initiatives, the company has demonstrated that corporate success is most meaningful when it benefits society at large.

For stakeholders, employees, and communities, the message is clear: Cash ur Drive is not only driving advertising innovation—it is also driving positive change where it matters most.
