BHUBANESWAR (India CSR): After 13 years of impactful presence in the region, TiE Bhubaneswar is all set to host TiECon 2025, a national-level entrepreneurship summit with global recognition, in the capital city of Odisha on August 9–10, 2025. The event marks a significant milestone in Odisha’s journey towards becoming a thriving hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
TiECon Bhubaneswar Confirmed
Speaking about the conclave Ayaskant Mohanty, President, TiE Bhubaneswar, stated, “We had urged TiE Global to bring TiECon to Bhubaneswar, and we are delighted that it has been accepted. TiECon 2025 will be a celebration of Odisha’s entrepreneurial spirit and a platform to project our state on the global business map.”
Summit Vision Shared
Among others Satyabrata Ratho, VP, TiE Bhubaneswar), Annada Prasad Padhy, Secretary, TiE Bhubaneswar, and Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Treasurer, TiE Bhubaneswar spoke about the objective of the summit and highlighted its importance in building Odisha’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Global Participation Expected
The two-day summit will witness participation from entrepreneurs and thought leaders from across India and countries such as Sri Lanka, Singapore, UAE (Dubai), and the USA. Designed to spotlight Odisha as a compelling destination for business and innovation, TiEcon 2025 will be organized in collaboration with the Government of Odisha.
Launching Key Initiatives
The event is packed with insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and the launch of four major initiatives aimed at boosting entrepreneurship in the state, Voice of Entrepreneurship–A grassroots initiative to connect with entrepreneurs across Odisha, gather insights on their challenges, and submit actionable feedback to the relevant authorities. Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs of Odisha – A unique campaign to identify and celebrate leading women entrepreneurs, who will further serve as role models for aspiring women across the state. Entrepreneurship in School Curriculum – An initiative to integrate entrepreneurship as a subject in school curricula, nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age. TiE Presence in Every Block – Expanding TiE Bhubaneswar’s reach to every block of Odisha, ensuring no aspiring entrepreneur is left behind.
AI Strategy Session
The second day of the event will feature an exclusive session on “AI and Entrepreneurship”, with national and international experts deliberating on Odisha’s AI policy and strategies to make the state future-ready. Over 500 delegates, including more than 100 foreign participants, are expected to attend this mega entrepreneurship celebration.
